May the things that hurt God's heart hurt ours

As I watched a girl painfully walk out of the abortion clinic, yesterday, with her boy friend by her side, It pained me to even watch or make any type of contact with her. She looked so hurt and broken, and only God knows what she or her boy friend were feeling at the moment.
As I watched a women cross the street looking exactly like a man it made a knot twist up in my stomach. As I spoke to that same women just a week ago, I know that she professes to believe in God and know God and she could even quote certain passages in his word but of coarse quoted nothing of Romans 1 when talking about God giving the wicked up unto their own uncleanliness. She claims that God LOVES her and created, She proclaims boldly that abortion has nothing to do with going against God's law and as she went on and on twisting scripture, defending abortion, defending gay rights, and proclaiming that she knows God, I could not help but think what a disappointment she will find when she discovers that she has created a God in her own image since she chose to close her ears to our warnings. I could not tell her that God loved her but hated her sin because that would be lying so all I could do was pray for that lost, soul that is dead in sin and blinded by the truth.
 Psalm 5:4-6:
4 For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
   with you, evil people are not welcome.
5 The arrogant cannot stand
   in your presence.
You hate all who do wrong;
 6 you destroy those who tell lies.
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
   you, LORD, detest.
Romans 1: 22-24
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
 24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

As I saw a couple sitting on the train dressed as demonic figures for a Halloween party, I suppose they were going to, I could not help but notice the misery they drowned in and the darkness that possessed their bodies and pray for the blood of Jesus to free them from the burdens they are debt to.

We live in a world swarming in wickedness and although it boggles our mind and pierces our heart we must pray for the lost and fulfill the great commission that God has called us to which is to go out and spread the good news to, all the gentiles, that Christ is risen and is coming again and they can be free from sin if they only choose to turn to the cross and follow Christ because without the blood of Jesus we lie in wait for an eternal damnation.
Does your heart break at the things that breaks God's heart or have we become desensitized to it?

We follow Christ by His strength!

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is week. We cannot follow Christ, live for Christ, honor Christ upon our own determination! We are week and it is the depravity of sin that consumes our souls until the blood of Jesus conquerors and washes it away. But due to our sin nature we fall every day with our, thoughts, actions, words, and no matter how much we strive to be perfect and holy we will fail because we were born IN SIN!
But there is hope, my dear friends! There is hope because once Jesus lives within us, we no longer see through our own eyes but through his. We are consumed in the holy spirit and God alone will give us the strength to say no to temptation and fight against the darkness of satan and press on the great commission. "When we become a follower of Christ It is no longer your life, it is now His life. Your time is no longer your time, it is now His time. Your possessions are no longer your possessions, it is His possessions. Your future is no longer your future, it is now His future." "So Likewise, whosoever he is of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, cannot be my disciple." Luke 14: 33

May we come to the world as little LAMBS.....with the faces of LIONS because the living almighty, consuming, soveriegn God dwells within us! We stand in the authority of the name of Jesus because we do not head off to war to loose we head off to war to win! The gospel demonstrates to the universe the manifold will of God! We need to rise up and proclaim the gospel!
Lord, Jesus don't just send us. Send us within yourself! Come with us. How can we do it on our own strength? The answer is...WE CAN'T! Our God is ready to do it in and through us. We cannot muster up the strength and We cannot love the lost, but HE CAN! Don't pray that God will teach you how to love like He loves, pray that he will fill you with himself and that He will love through you!
We cannot imitate Him on our own strength or we will be a miserable replica! But if we allow the impartation of Jesus Christ suddenly it all works because it is Him imitating Himself and He is very very good at being God!

P.S- The second phrase comes from Eric Ludy's sermon on "The Gospel". The video is available on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPIOkdNL-QQ&feature=related

Day by Day...

Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. Someone is dying, suffering, lost and confused about life and why they exist. People are filled with emptiness and continual sorrow because they feel there is no purpose for their life. They believe this whole world came to be by an accident therefore we have no meaning or purpose, but let me tell you this my friends. This world did not come to be by random chance or some big bang! God created it fearfully and wonderfully to reflect his glory and majesty. But people ask themselves, "If God created this world so perfectly and carefully scripted everything into exsistance, than why is there so much sin and suffering, murder, violence, sorrow and darkness in it?" Well, God created this world perfect and without sin, but when he created man, he did not create him a robot. He created him with a free will. He commanded him to not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but Adam and Eve had a choice to either obey God or disobey Him and disobey Him they did. So was the first sin that corrupted the innocence and spotlessness of life. Without blood there is NO REMISSION OF SIN so someone had to die and take up the sins of this world upon Himself. Jesus Christ, the spotless lamb of God, had to come down to be born of this earth in the form of a man and be crucified for the sake of saving us from eternal condemnation and because he loved us SO MUCH, He was not only willing to die but to be separated from His father and take on the sins of this whole world! People say the cross is a sign of love, and, although that is true, we must realize that the cross is a sign of HOW CORRUPTED WE ARE that it took the death of God's only son to save us from our calamity. That, my friends, is what JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD did for you and me and until we've been washed by the blood and born of the holy spirit we will continue walking in the darkness of satan. We can only serve one master so choose you this day whom you will serve. Tomorrow is not promised!

 Have you died with Christ and taken up your cross to follow Him? Are you willing to be a servant the way Jesus came to serve and make disciples? Have you died to yourself and given up all your worldly desires for the sake of following and living for Christ? Does everything you do reflect the glory of God and do you honor him in everything you do, think or say? Are you willing to give up every worldly thing that you've held on too and throw it away for the sake of following Christ? May this be our desire and commitment, and may God awaken us from the sin that we are dead to!

IT STARTS NOW!

Dear Bloggers, I am deeply sorry for neglecting to write in this blog. As creative writing and expressing myself does not come very naturally to me, I have put off doing it for quite some time, but I am determined to stay committed to sharing my experiences with you all and what the Lord has been revealing to me and pressing on my heart from now on. Well, before I share anything with you I must be brutally honest and confess that I have not been diligent in going to Dr. Emily's abortion clinic for quite a few weeks now. Due to summer vacations and activities we've spent most of the time away from NYC, but I have been back for a few weeks and have not gone to the clinic yet. If I wanted to, I could come up with a million different excuses why I haven't been able to go, but the reality is, I haven't had as much of a burden and passion for it like I did before. I've been procrastinating on going and very uncommitted, and although I can fool myself into thinking that God understands my actions, I will not even try to justify it. But lately I've been thinking allot about missions, about people, about lost souls, and hurting lives. It brings tears to my eyes to think of all the people in this world who don't have a relationship with their Creator or may not even know anything about God or what Jesus did for them on the cross. I think about people who have suffered poverty, abuse, starvation, and a million other hardships. I have been so blessed to be born into a family that loves God and honors his word, and I have never really suffered true pain. All my life I've known and heard about the things of God and now I can share an intimate relationship with Him and its all because of His soveriegn grace that has been sufficient over my life. Is it not our job to share these truths with those who don't know about it, those who don't know the gospel. The other night I was watching a film about a man who went to the isolated island of Tonga to bring the gospel to the tribal people. He had to learn the language and build a kingdom. For 2 years (I think) he lived, ate, worked, conversed among those people and went through all sorts of hardships to deliver the message to these people. He had a heart for them and a passion for the ministry, He was willing to leave everything to be a missionary. I asked myself, "Am I willing to stand by my father, of husband one day and go to the worst parts of this world to bring the truth to these lost souls. Do I have such a burden for people that I am willing to go through whatever I have to go through to reach out and deliver the message of salvation?" If God called us to make disciples than why aren't we doing that in our very own town. I ask myself, why do I stay quiet when there's a chance to speak up, or stay seated when there is a chance to stand up. Why do I stay silent in the crowd when there is a chance to stand alone. I don't have to wait to be a missionary. I need to be faithful NOW. Are we being faithful in our own homes? Are we being missionary to our communities? Do our piers even know about our beliefs and are we being a testimony in our music school's or secular programs. It all starts here. Are we sitting around waiting for God to bring an opportunity for us to go to another country when were not even whitnessing to our own neighbors? Are we asking God to use us when we can't even honor our parents which is the first commandment with promise! Do we desire to go to the poorest orphanages in the world when we can't even speak kindly to our younger siblings. Are we asking God to give us the strength to stand alone out in this dark world when we can't even do that among our closest friends and family. Are we setting the standard or waiting for someone else to do it first? The issue isn't that we don't have enough missionaries, the issue is we don't even realize were living in the mission field! Let us encourage one another to glorify God in every way so that he may use us in mighty ways. Be a light to your lost family, friends, neighbors, and piers. Don't pass over opportunities to plant a seed in a persons life. It starts now! :D Matthew 25: 21 - His lord send unto him, Well done thou good and faithful servant: though hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter though into the joy of thy lord.

To help, or not to help....THAT.. is the question

At Dr.Emily's abortion mil, there's one thing you can't do, and that's passing the line, the line that separates the sidewalk from the driveway. When you do that, you can get arrested for trespassing. That's the law, so we follow it, but there's moments where you really wish you could just walk all over their huge parking lot.
 There's girls that, when they walk out the door, they kneel down in pain, there's girls that can't take the stress and stand there and cry, and there's girls that are being pulled out by their boyfriend or mother. The hard part is watching it, and not being able to reach them and give them a hug, give them the gospel, or comfort them, because they are far inside the parking lot.
Two weeks ago, there was one girl who walked out, sat down lying on the wall, and started crying. I wanted to go and run to her, but there was that line that separated me from her. The worst part was that one of the three clinic escorts that day just stood there, pacing back and forth near us. Why didn't he help her? One of the pro-lifers (the one in the picture) said to the clinic escort, " Go help her! She needs help! Why don't you ask her what's wrong?" And did he do it? Nah, he started pacing again.....my bad for thinking the escort would think about helping a women crying on their floor.
